Hadron-quark mixed phase in the quark-meson coupling model

چکیده

We explore the possibility of a structured hadron-quark mixed phase forming in interior neutron stars. The quark-meson coupling (QMC) model, which explicitly incorporates internal quark structure nucleon, is employed to describe hadronic phase, while described by same bag model as one used QMC framework, so keep consistency between two coexisting phases. analyze effect appearance pasta phases on neutron-star properties. also discuss influence nuclear symmetry energy and constant $B$ matter deconfinement transition. For treatment we use minimization method compare it with Gibbs construction. finite-size effects like surface Coulomb energies are taken into account method; they play crucial roles determining configuration during It found that can significantly reduce region relative Using consistent value matter, find formed massive stars, but no pure exist.

The Quark-meson Coupling Model

We review the quark-meson coupling model, in which the quark degrees of freedom are explicitly involved to describe the properties of not only nuclear matter but also finite nuclei. Then, we present the electric and magnetic form factors for the proton bound in specific orbits for several closed-shell nuclei. Key-words: quark degrees of freedom, finite nuclei, electromagnetic form factors

Quark and gluon condensates in the quark-meson coupling model

Using the quark-meson coupling (QMC) model, we study the density dependence of the quark and gluon condensates in nuclear matter. We show that the change of the quark condensate is mainly driven by the scalar field in the medium and that the reduction of the quark condensate is suppressed at high density, even in the mean-field approximation. The gluon condensate decreases by 4 6 % at nuclear s...

Deconfinement in the Quark Meson Coupling Model

The Quark Meson Coupling Model which describes nuclear matter as a collection of non-overlapping MIT bags interacting by the self-consistent exchange of scalar and vector mesons is used to study nuclear matter at finite temperature. In its modified version, the density dependence of the bag constant is introduced by a direct coupling between the bag constant and the scalar mean field. In the pr...

Naturalness in the quark-meson coupling model

The quark-meson coupling (QMC) model is examined using Georgi’s “naive dimensional analysis”. We argue that the QMCmodel is quite natural as an effective field theory for nuclei. PACS numbers: 24.85.+p, 21.65.+f, 24.10.Jv, 21.60.-n

Quark-Meson Coupling Model for a Nucleon

We considered the quark-meson coupling model for a nucleon. The model describes a nucleon as an MIT bag, in which quarks are coupled to the scalar and the vector mesons. A set of coupled equations for the quark and the meson fields are obtained and are solved in a self-consistent manner. We show that the mass of a dressed MIT bag interacting with σand ω-meson fields differs considerably from th...
